Events at TALA

Through the years, The Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum (formerly the Weston State Hospital) has been a social
and economic contributor to the local community. Continuing in that tradition, currently the front lawn is used
for community youth events and we host other events in various locations of the property.
From Fall Festivals to Mud Bog Races, we look forward to seeing you at an upcoming event.

Tentative schedule for 2012

	Moonstruck Music Festival - 6/01-6/02 Watch 20 bands from the 5 surrounding states battle it out for cash and prizes on our 300 acre farm, directly behind the Lunatic Asylum. Vendors of all sorts will be selling their wares. Alcohol will not be sold but you may bring coolers. Primitive camping is available on our 300 acre farm.
	The TALA Motorsports Association TMSA is designed for every motorsport participant and spectator. TMSA is growing daily embarking on the most current trends of 4-wheel drive motor sports. All the proceeds raised by TMSA will be dedicated to the preservation of the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum. Don't miss MUD MANIA THIS WEEKEND!
	Haunted House - October As our Haunted house grows, we continue to stretch the limits of our imagination to ensure you and your friends have something to talk about until the next year’s haunted house. Join us for this year, will you make it out with your sanity and dry pants?
	Fall Festival - October In continuing the tradition of our Fall Festival we are expecting a variety of vendors offering an assortment of food, crafts, and many other items. Opportunities to explore the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum will be offered that include flashlight tours and heritage tours; and make sure to take a trip through our haunted house “Ward 24”.
	The Asylum Ball - October This is a costume ball . You are not required to wear a costume in order to gain admission, although, due to local laws, clothing is required. We will be hosting live bands and prizes will be awarded for the various costume categories.
